Construction industry recruitment 2023 - so far, so good.

2023 in construction recruitment so far has been very different to previous years.

Traditionally the start of the year is slow and the summer is extremely busy, this year we have experienced the opposite.  The summertime is when many of the trades go on holiday, leaving gaps in the workforce. We are contacted to fill these gaps, but trying to feel these gaps can be a challenge with a depleted marketforce.

However, this summer we’ve seen less travel/movement and enhanced loyalty amongst tradespeople,  and filling jobs has been pretty regular and straightforward.

The winter period is nearly upon us and the signs are very positive, and we expect the end of the year to be much like the start - super busy for us, busy for our clients and busy for the trades.
